The NKF’s origin story…..

It all began in the year 1950,November 15 when Ada Debold and her spouse organised the first meeting of the committee for Nephrosis research in a desperate effort to save their dying child from the deadly disease.Despite knowing that the disease was incurable,she still did everything in her power to try to cure the fatal disease,thus forming the first National Nephrosis Foundation.However her son passed on at the tender age of 4.
