DISCALSA is a family-owned company based in La Rioja, Northern Spain.Over the years we have specialized in the production of home tables andchairs that answer people needs in terms of functionality, aesthetics andcomfort.

The company was founded in the 50’s as a producer of rush chairs.Nevertheless, DISCALSA, as it is today, was created in 1996. Since then ithas evolved, constantly developing new designs to meet changingmarket needs and exploring new materials to offer the best values andservice. As a result, it rapidly turned into one of Spain’s leading producerof tables and chairs.

All the new models, which are customizable in dimensions and finishes,are available with fine ceramic tops that are scratch, stain and heatresistant. Ceramic offers great advantages as the non-porous surfacewithstands with ease the intense use in daily life and makes tablessuitable for different settings: a living room, a meeting room but also arestaurant or a winery, as a wine-tasting table…

High tech innovation & luxe materials: a new design concept. With thenew models, DISCALSA breaks with the cold, too much minimalistic lookof former ceramic top tables, giving a spin to the design concept andbringing it to a new level. The incorporation of high tech materials andfunctionalities, as well as the new luxe finishes, has resulted into newtable collections that are more decorative and perform beautifully inmore exclusive ambiences.

FIOCCO, the new luxe table

FIOCCO is a rectangular table that strikes the perfect balance between noblewood, metal and ceramic, three different materials that add warmth and a naturalappeal to its contemporary design.

Available in a fixed or extendable version, the table is offered in 6 differentdimensions: cm 180/200/220/250 length and cm 100/120 wide. A telescopicsynchronized mechanism made of aluminium allows to extend the table up to 80cm providing extra space for unexpected guests.

The angled legs seek to combine aesthetic elegance with comfort and practicality.To increase robustness, the interior of legs has been manufactured from metal,which can come lacquered in any of the 16 DT colours of the DISCALSA’s chart.The exterior side is covered with different type of wood – lacquered ash wood,natural oak or natural walnut – for a warmer yet sophisticated effect.

ELYSE-O, extra-ordinary design

The sleek profiles and the curved edges of its three main elements (legs, top,leaves) marry to create this beautifully crafted tables that features a moresensual and delicate aesthetic.

It has an epoxy powder coated metal frame that supports a ceramic top withdouble extension slides in aluminium.

There are 10 sizes to choose from with the extendable version having twodifferent extension options: an extension of 80 cm or two extensions of 60 cm,depending on your needs.

The stunning ELYSE-O table is now available topped in elegant ceramics, suchas the new marble-like C-36 finish that accentuates the glam yet natural effectof the piece.

SILKE TECH, as well as the standard SILKE, is a fixed table that mixes in a verysmart way different noble materials. The table top is made of marble-like ceramic,and is supported by a structure made of oak wood that sits on top of metallic legs.A solution that provides spaces with visual comfort and a real sense of authenticity.

What about cooking directly on the table top? No tricks, with SILKE TECH you can. The table incorporates the TPB TECH induction cooking worktop that opens tables to a world of possibilities. The inductors are placed under the surface and are activated by on-off buttons perfectly camouflaged on the worktop… Laser markers indicated where to put the saucepan or the pot and even though the worktop gives off heat, it does not burns… So, what can I do with my SILKE table?

SILKE table, a natural aesthetic

The standard SILKE is available in four different configurations: with round, square, rectangular or elliptical ceramic tops. The elliptical version is offered in two widths (100 and 120) and up to 6 different lengths (160, 180, 200, 220, 240, 250).

The range of finishes is quite wide and allows to customize tops and legsaccording to the taste and needs of clients. Ceramic tops are available in 21colour options that imitate natural stones and marbles. Legs are made of metaland come lacquered in epoxy DT colours.

Withlow light reflectivity, this ultra-thin, highly resistant surface is anti-fingerprint andfeatures a very pleasant soft touch. To make the most of the new material and adaptit to the existing offer, new features and finishes have been introduced in theDISCALSA catalogue, such as the new matching lacquer colours. An adaptation onthe extending mechanism has also been required.
