When remodeling this older home, untouched for over 30 years, we wanted to acknowledge and appreciate the significant elements of design and the style of the architecture that was presented in the design of that time.

We wanted to preserve the existing fashion of the rooms, modifying them by softly introducing new contemporary elements that would beautifully connect and compliment the originality of the timeless quality.

The outer architectural style of the building projected its significance that worked beautifully when meeting with the modern style of the interior, creating an interesting and stylish connection between old and new.

We chose to make kitchen cabinets taller, dressing them in a crisp white color easily adoptable to the original mode of the room. It brought the openness and freshness of a modern look to the room and increased the effectiveness of the space.

The glossy surface of the kitchen cabinets worked beautifully with brown tones of the natural wood flooring, complimenting each other in a non-traditional setting.

We selected furniture that would fit the transparency of the room, making the room look light and open, responding to the elegance of the balcony’s railing outline while displaying the entire magnificent panoramic view.
