Throughout the plant design process an enormous number of data and information will be created. These data arenot only relevant to the most different users in the planning and manufacturing process but also at a later date, i.e.after completion of the plant. Such data may be of interest to many other persons like the repair and maintenancestaff. Normally, today it is still necessary for information procurement to evaluate heaps of folders or even digital docu-ments, but not with Project-Navigator.

Viewing of Project DataCADISON® Project-Navigator is the module for viewing of project data within the corporate network. The navigatorhas been designed for staff members normally not involved in the active planning of a plant but afterwards respon-sible for operation and maintenance of the plant (i.e. mere data consumers).Since in a CADISON® project all logic and functional interrelations are displayed, it is possible, e.g. in case a pumpfails operation, to make visible all plant components affected by this failure. In case problems occur, all components,safety zones, pipe runs, hazardous areas etc. that might be affected are recognized and/or displayed. The integra-ted report generator will easily and rapidly issue the list you need.

Entitlement ConceptOf course, the existing entitlement concept is fullyconsidered even in case of work with theCADISON® Project-Navigator. Apart from that, allinformation is in principle only readable (Read-Only-Mode) but cannot be modified.

Easy OperationThe user surface is the one commonly known assurface of CADISON® Project-Engineer. Thus veryshort training for use of this module is possible. Theexisting object inspector is available for easy anddetailed viewing. Objects can be used for zoomingdirectly to the respective part of the drawing. Thususers may profit from excellent abstracts about theexisting situation. This access easy for data consu-mers contributes decisively to your competitiveness.

CADISON® combines the engineering workflow in one system and thus significantly accelerates the planning pro-cesses. All users can see on their workplaces - either graphically or as schematic, as 3D model or text-based in atree structure – the same data and objects in each case so that they can be optionally used and modified on all work-places through simple Drag & Drop.Data and/or objects are existing once only. Thus errors as a result of redundant data management are excluded. Thesophisticated right system ensures that tasks are handled selectively. Modifications introduced by other users areimmediately made available to all other users. The continuity of the individual work steps in one object-orienteddatabase forms the core of the CADISON® technology. CADISON® uses the widespread platformsAutodeskAutoCADor Microsoft Visio for graphical presentations.


All data generated with the CADISON® modules and available for use within the data base are forming the basis ofthe CADISON® Project-Navigator. Such data might be single object information, schematics, calculations etc.

The different perceptions stored in the data base permit rapid and easy viewing of sear-ched object information. Data may be presented in several windows in parallel.

Integrated Report GeneratorAll data created with CADISON® may be optionally edited through the integrated reportgenerator. Such data might be a list of valves & fittings or a pipeline list. All reports canbe revised and have release mechanisms. They are directly stored within the CADISON®

project. All documents can be delivered automatically as PDF.

From Quotation to Maintenance …The CADISON® Project-Navigator is an important asset for your plant planning and con-struction efforts even in relation to the future plant operator. You should present the com-plete project digitally as CADISON® project to the plant operator. The latter can use theCADISON® Project-Navigator for very easy electronic access to all planning data. Thusthe loop of Integrated Digital Plant Model will be closed.
