My concept map was based around the subway system map of Hong Kong. Highlighting all the main locations of the city that my suitcase visits in the storyboard.

done at the Brisbane Airport just before I was heading off to Sydney. I drew over them in more detail later but I still let them have the look of a rough sketch.

I tried using interesting angles and views in each panel to easily show where the bag is and what its doing. I purposely hid the main characters face to bring the bag into more focus through out the storyboard.

I had difficulty placing each part of the bag in the right place so it didn’t block the view of anything in front or behind it. In the final drawing I tried to use a minimal amount of lines so it would be to confusing to look at.

I chose the crow because I liked how organically the bag would open to become the wings of the bird. As well as how a crow is similar in texture, size and colour to a black briefcase
