Design ChallengeThe kitchen at this historic townhouse was separated from the rest of the first floor by an oversized half-bathroom. Poor circulation, lack of storage and poor natural made the space dysfunctional for this family of 4.

Design SolutionThe bathroom was relocated to the opposing wall. Windows were enlarged to allow more natural light. Existing ceilings were raised to expose existing structure. New cabinets increase storage options.
