Major Projects
Exploration into the domain of vision based Human-Computer Interaction and development of applications highlighting the basis of this interaction paradigm.
Using visual data from a webcam as a input device, the applications interaction with the applications was purely body movement and hand gesture based. These applications range from learning tool for kids to assisting communication for hearing impaired using the American sign language.
Study and analysis of Interface and Interaction for Automated Aviation Systems
The study included the cognition of the fighter pilots and finding design opportunities between the human interactions with current interfaces of the cockpits. The study comprised air traffic control, commercial jets, training aircrafts and, fighter planes where right information is needed at the right time without any kind of mental load.
Conceptualization of an onboard display device for fire tenders, including interface and interaction design, to provide real time mission critical information in case of emergency, ranging from navigation, onboard equipment status and sensitive information about the emergency location. The device also acts as a record keeping log book for all operations.

System ThinkingBuilding up a small module of rainwater harvesting system and observing the changes within and around the system.
Data VisualizationAnalyzing and understanding the various features and attributes of Google Analytics as a tool for web site design. Representing complex data from the UNESCO website into simple visual form.
User Centered Analysis and Usability TestingConducted by HFI (Human Factors International); Analysis of a product(lighter) and the usability issues.
Basic Design CoursesDesign Concepts and Concerns (Developed solutions for New Information Systems for Citizens as an Industry), Typography, Photography, Color and Form, Media Studies, Cross Cultural Studies, Technical writing, Free hand drawing and Analytical drawing.

Blood-Bank database management systemA database management system for managing the records in a Blood-Bank. This project was developed using C++.
Image analysis using mathematical morphologyA study project on image analysis. Mathematical morphology constitutes algorithm for analysing image, thereby making computer understand the image.
Power Conservation System for home and officeDeveloping a system that would assist in power management in home or in a office, thereby saving precious energy. This project was developed using VB.NET.
