Analysis of magazine in general I really live the layout of Vogue’s magazine, I feel as if it is busy but captures the key information by a well designed structure. A structure similar to this would be key to my own magazine. The way they have almost overlapped the photograph in front of the title really intrigues me because it brings a real three dimensional element to the page- this is something I may wish to involve within my own magazine. The font used for the title is very iconic. I believe although it is simple, it really is the icon of vogue- it’s how it is known worldwide. The way they have decided to use a white font to contrast with the pink background fits very nicely and allows the title of the magazine to be read clearly with no struggles.

Analysis of magazine in general

I really live the layout of Vogue’s magazine, I feel as if it is busy but captures the key information by a well designed structure. A structure similar to this would be key to my own magazine.

The way they have almost overlapped the photograph in front of the title really intrigues me because it brings a real three dimensional element to the page- this is something I may wish to involve within my own magazine.

The font used for the title is very iconic. I believe although it is simple, it really is the icon of vogue-it’s how it is known worldwide. The way they have decided to use a white font to contrast with the pink background fits very nicely and allows the title of the magazine to be read clearly with no struggles.

ELLE also have a very unique font which is related to them. The tall and smart font allows the audience to know exactly what magazine they’re picking up as the title is extremely bold and eye catching.

The way in which this magazine is structured is unique, and differs to other fashion magazines. With the variety of fonts this enables the audience to highlight the key information such as ‘sales’.

Finally, the photograph positioned behind the text gives a particularly nice look to this magazine, this is because although it is simple it gives the audience something original to look at. The way they have managed to completely separate the fonts colour from the photograph/background is very clever as it still holds some sort of theme to it.

The text throughout this magazine is very bold and does a good job at featuring individual elements of the magazine.

The way the font is all positioned in front of the background allows the audience to focus on the highlighted key information-which is a very smart marketing technique.

I really like the way the title is positioned on its side as it defies the stereotype of having your title at the top of a magazine. The red behind the title really helps to highlight the title and make it stand out.
