Alternative Office Solutions Inc., is one of the most respected names in the office furnishings industry. Since 1999 we have been active in buying, selling and refurbishing Herman Miller AO1 and AO2 office systems.

Alternative Office Solutions, Inc., operates out of our 28,000 square foot manufacturingfacility, located in Morgan Hill, California just minutes south of the Heart of Silicon Valley. It also houses our retail showroom, CAD design staff and warehouse.

Cindi brings over 20 years of experience in CAD design, project management, and manufacturing. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Alternative Office Solutions has been one of the pioneers in the industry of keeping our planet green. Since it’s inception, AOS has been a leader in the green movement by refurbishing Herman Miller AO1 and AO2 office systems.

Think about it. The basic structure of most office furniture has a long life span. Color, fabric, paint and other elements typically become worn or out dated over time. In the past, an office face lift or new color scheme meant old furnishings were given a life sentence in storage or a landfill.

Not anymore. Alternative Office Solutions will refurbish worn out cubicles, taking them out of the solid waste systems and back into the consumer market by restoring it to “Like New” condition.

Design

By using the Giza Cad Design program, specific to our industry, we are able to give you various versions of your office design. This allows our clients the versatility to make any desired changes in the design and functionality of their office space before production begins. Potential designs are available for our clients to view in 2D and even 3D.

Production When a project goes to production, we

go to great lengths to ensure the products you buy from us will look and perform in every way like a new system.

All metal components are sanded and painted with water reducible low VOC paint.

Fabric from panels is removed and replaced with a new fabric selection. Most fabrics can be matched from our own stock or quickly obtained from the mill. Most of these fabrics are 100% recycled materials.

Panels are fitted with new top caps. All fixtures are checked and replaced where necessary. Flipper doors and tack boards are recovered with new fabric selection.

Keys and locks are replace where necessary.

Final Assembly and Shipping

Once Production is complete, our Final Assemble and Shipping Department goes to work. All product is inspected and prepared for shipping.

Painted components are packaged to protect the new finishes.

Panels, Flipper Doors and Tack Boards are palletized and stretch wrapped to ensure new fabric is protected.

Work Surfaces are palletized and wrapped.

All other components are packaged and/or boxed for proper shipment.

Our trucks are available for delivery, at an additional charge.
