The three methods gave consistent results. The dissolution of aluminium in hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide solutions in

the presence ofsemicarbazide, thiosemicarbazide and sym.diphenylcarbazide as corrosion

inhibitors has been studied using thermometric, weight-loss and polarization methods.
