History: 321 Water is a re-usable drink bottle that filters tap water and is both visually appealing and practical for the mainstream, style- savvy consumer. The bottle derived its name, 321 Water, from the ratio of water that is required to manufacture one litre of bottled water: three to one. Hoping the name itself would raise awareness of the environmental damage that using bottled water does and instead encourage people to use their filtered re-usable bottle instead. Gretha Oost is an innovator with a marketing background who moved to Australia from The Netherlands in 2004 and now resides in Melbourne. She runs a sustainable design and product development company that is dedicated to making a positive contribution to the current global environmental crisis by bringing products to market that inspire consumers to conserve valuable resources.
