Ecolibrium’s products, built on its robust E-Grid Platform, targets key issues faced by Utilities, and

Commercial & Industrial Consumers, and builds specific solutions for them

Key Problems

Access to real time accurate data

Un-availability of real time energy/Physical parameter data. Manual reading done

Hardware Issues

SCADA/PLC systems are very expensive and other data acquisition systems

have very limited hardware support

Lack of a comprehensive monitoring

No system for monitoring of both electrical and physical

parameters from single System

No data analytics support

Limited or no access to customized reports and

analytics

Centralized monitoring in unavailable

No centralized systems for managing geographically

dispersed locations across the country

No systems for preventive action

Lack of alerts for critical parameters, thus no

preventive measures can be taken to reduce penalties

The Energy Management processes in the Industrial and Commercial consumers of

the developing world lack the focus on energy optimization and efficiency. This is

mostly due to non-availability of suitable technology

Type of Organization Pharmaceuticals

No of Locations64 (Power and

Temperature)

SmartSense AEMS was installed in 15 locations

of Intas Pharma spread across the country to

manage both electrical and physical parameters.

All the 15 locations can be tracked from a single

Network Operations Centre

Impact:

Intas was able to monitoring and optimize its

energy consumption by up to 10% using AEMS

features, and also establish a centralised

monitoring system for all its Cold storage

locations, with SMS alerts on key instances,

leading to lesser stock Rejections

Type of Organization Engineering

No of Locations 11 (Power)

Ecolibrium Energy has installed 11 different

devices across 3 locations of Harsha Engineers

for monitoring electrical parameters. These

systems have been installed both on HT as well

as LT end. Energy tracking is done both centrally

as well as locally in every location.

Impact:

Post successful installation of the devices, the

following impact has been noticed:

1. Increase in PF from 0.78 to 0.93

2. Line loss reduction by 50%

3. Annual energy savings ~Rs.6,80,000

Type of Organization Engineering

Furnace Type Fuel Fired

Payback period Less than 8 months

Impact:

Ecolibrium Energy installed the Smartsense Furnace solution in European made fuel fired furnace. The

solution consisted of continuous O2 monitoring and control of blower speed through VFD. The system

improved combustion efficiency by 10% resulting in substantial savings in fuel and power bills

The client also is now able to monitor the efficiency real time from the Smart sense Dashboard, and gets

SMS and Email Alerts on key situations. The Calibration requirement of the O2 Sensor is also tracked on

a timely basis using this system, besides this the system also increases the asset life of the furnace.

The net impact of the efficiency improvement was not only in fuel, but also in product quality.
