Working in the Vital Records Department on many Certificates of Death and Burial Permits, changed my life. It truly changed how I looked at life.
I saw how many people died each day. They lived and they died. Over. These people had meant something to someone, even the John and Jane Doe’s.
Be careful how you complete a Certificate of Death; it’s like a headstone – it leaves a final purpose to a loved one’s life.
I started in Vital Records & Statistics a week before my Dad passed. It was difficult working in the Vital Records & Statistics department actually helped me cope with his death.
