The first part of the paper introduces the concept of big dataand how this help us to use correctly and to the real value theinformation and knowledge in order to make better, smarter,real time decisions.

The second part describes after a literature review analysisthe steps for implement the solutions of big data in the corearea of cities.

The third part of this paper presents the impact of the bigdata solutions and how can use all the facility of this infriendly cities development.

The fourth part presents the conclusions and underlines theimportance of use big data for friendly cities.

The use of big data solutions is the biggest opportunity forfriendly cities in our years.

This happened because we need to access, process and usedifferent data type very fast and big data solutions offersthese facilities.

Cities of our time have always wanted to use correctly and tothe real value the information and knowledge in order tomake better, smarter, real time, fact-based decisions, thisnecessity of correct knowledge has fueled the growth of usingbig data.

In this case the big data concept is the most importantsupport for cities’ evolutions. In the world, many cities whoare agree that this is true aren't sure how to make the most ofit implementation.
