Look for sector and industry visibility. Does the headhunter brand themselves well? Do they prominently use social media? Are they
published in the field? Do they attend industry conferences? Have they been
quoted in the press? If they are visible in your industry and/or sector then this
inspires confidence!

RECOMMENDATIONS
Try to find and get as many recommendations from a variety of sources including online
blogs, reviews, your own professional network, LinkedIn profiles, human resource
professionals, business associates and other job candidates looking in your field.

GLOBAL VISION & REACH
Headhunters should ideally think global even if they act local. If they are part of a global
executive search firm then its better for you. Find out if they handle global search
assignments. Look for a confident answers to your questions. Global awareness is a very
important value-added trait.

PERSONAL QUALITIES
Determine if the headhunter has a sense of integrity and values. Check to see if the person has a sold and outstanding record of accomplishment. Look for competence and confidence - reflecting the headhunters' experience, education, personal
initiatives, continuing education practices and personal growth.
