Hannah Fleishman come get to know me
And Cairo,
Egypt has been
my home since
11th grade
And lived in Rome, Italy for 5 years. Bellissima!
I was born in Philadelphia, PA
Then moved to Berlin,
Germany for 6 years
I needed to creatively market myself every time I moved to a new country and culture.
So you could say I’ve been studying marketing since I was four…
I went to Emerson College in Boston.
Where I graduated
in 2012 with
honors in
Marketing
Communication…
And a 3.9 GPA
College wasn’t all chalkboard and textbooks
But college wasn’t all textbooks and spell check…
I interned for Coca-Cola in Cairo, Egypt. I was on the Public Affairs and Communication team over summer 2011.
I got to write newsletters for bottling partners and executives, and cover charitable events like Coca-Cola’s annual Ramadan dinner. I represented the brand at The Happiness Truck’s Ramadan event for over 1,000 orphans in Cairo.
I also got to test new products in the region
This sparked
my passion in
event
planning…
My love for marketing and Egypt really came together when I produced a final thesis for the Emerson Honors program.
Marketing a Revolution: How the Egyptian Revolution
has Influenced Commercial Advertising in Egypt
In addition to a written
thesis, I developed an e-Book to help marketers
develop strategies for post-
Mubarak Egypt.

While at MITX, I was invested in one BIG project…
I interned with the Mass.
Innovation and Technology
Exchange where I worked on
numerous events for the
start-up marketing
community…
I was account manager for
40+ FutureM partners,
and worked on everything
from location booking to
speaker prep…
I also managed the FutureM student group
and planned 4 new sessions. With my help,
student attendance double
from 2011 to 2012.

other awesome marketing
events.
