We Pursue Creative Solutions to Improve our Environment

The use of innovative technology and a shared focus on environmental responsibility

has earned the creative partnership, between Vermilion and a tomato greenhouse, a

national ecology award from the French government. The greenhouse’s use of heat

from Vermilion’s produced water source creates an eco-friendly environment that

grows 3,000 tonnes of tomatoes on the vine annually, supports 150 local jobs and

reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 10,000 tonnes per year.
