1. Visit the Company’s Website

When you start your search, you should visit the company’s main website. There you can learn valuable information such as recent news, contact information, the company’s inception, ideals and goals,

and mission and culture.

2. Google the Company

Google is a good way to see how much information is really out there on the Internet about the company you would like to work for. You can find out if

the company was recently in the news (and for what), in addition to corporate history and recent changes in staff.

3. Surf Social Media Channels

You can check out its social media channels to see how the company presents itself—and more importantly—how it interacts with the public.

4. View Corporate Blogs

Some companies may have a blog on their official website, which you should read to stay abreast of any new information you can later use in your interview.

You should also look for blogs written about the company by a third-party source. You may be able to uncover new information written with an industry

insider’s perspective.
