Scott also maintains a connection with a number of professional organizations, including the National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP).

Among its many programs and services, the NSCP maintains the Compliance Education Scholarship to honor late members whose contributions laid the foundation of the organization and ensured its enduring success.

Introduction

The scholarship is intended to help professionals who recently joined the securities compliance field by providing them with educational tools focused on building knowledge and skills in the industry.

Awarded to one applicant each year, the NSCP Compliance Education Scholarship includes membership in the NSCP mentoring program, a one-year membership with the organization, admittance to the Essential Compliance Training Program, and a voucher for one NSCP regional meeting. Eligible candidates are those with less than five years of experience in a securities compliance role. The annual application deadline is December 31.
