Atmosphere

A lot of tension is created by the plot of the opening. Because we have no understanding of why they are robbing this bank. The tension and confusion increases when the robbers begin to turn on one another.

We are hinted throughout about “joker” who is described but we don’t see until the end. Furthermore the person that turns out to be the joker causes more tension as he doesn’t speak making the audience feel uncomfortable.
