Our scope We are an association of authorized self employed naval architects, which deals primarily with complex Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis of ships and other marine structures which operates at sea.

Having defined the surface of the hull surface (in some cases are necessary only the stations defined), we are able to discretize the hull surface in a structured grid for using it in different CFD codes the clients demand for their own purposes

Steady wave on a cargo ship computed with linear and nonlinear 3D Panel Rankine code
Using our own 3D Panel Rankine code (linear and nonlinear) we are able to perform computations for steady wave pattern and steady wave pressure distribution on the ships hull.
Also more insight computations can be made using advanced codes (as STAR CCM or CFX) for computing the ship resistance and also a more realistic pattern of the steady wave.

Contour plots of the diffraction wave produced by a cargo ship advancing in waves
Using our own code (called HYBRID) - based on Radiation/Diffraction 3D Panel method - we are able to compute the unsteady waves produced by the ship in her route thru the encountering waves.
Also the components of the unsteady pressure on the ships hull are computed.

RAO of Heave motion for a thin ship computed with different codes
The sea keeping computations are done by using codes based on Strip Method, and Rankine 3D Panel Method (linear and nonlinear).
The output of the codes will include Response Amplitude Operators (RAO) of each motion and also the RMS of global motions and accelerations of ship which operates in different sea states and desired headings.
The quantitative results will be analyzed for satisfying the sea keeping criteria imposed by the clients.

Offshore structure during operation at sea
The goal of this service is analyzing wave interactions with offshore platforms and other structures or vessels.
Combined Boundary Integral Equations are used as a tool for solving the velocity potential and fluid pressure on the submerged surfaces of the bodies. Also, simultaneously, is solved the diffraction problem ( the effects of incident waves on the body) and the radiation problems for each motion of the bodies, hydrodynamic forces including added-mass and damping coefficients, exciting forces, response-amplitude operators (RAO's), the pressure and fluid velocity, and the mean drift forces and moments.

Fish eye view Hull form improvement for a fast ship with respect to
the improved hull)
Improvement of the ship performance by iterative changes of hull surface. The improvements are done in respect with wave resistance component, steady pressure distribution on the hull but alternatively can be made considering the viscosity of the fluid and also taking into account sea keeping performance of the ship.
