Channel manager – IT security sales vacancies IT security vendor; data security leader £75,000 basic / £150,000 OTE OPPORTUNITY; Security has never been more prevalent in society; from anonymous and Lulzsec and cyber warfare to terrorism. The Cyber Security market in 2011 was worth $63.7 billion, and is expected to grow to about $120.1 billion by 2017 (marketsandmarkets.com). It is expected to have a healthy CAGR of 11.3% from 2012 to 2017. COMPANY; A global information technology software company with a portfolio of products including Security Management, Storage, Application Development, Compliance, IT asset management and BPM. They currently work with the majority of the FTSE 100 and have client references in all verticals with which to leverage deals. ROLE; As a channel sales manager you will develop business within targeted channel accounts. You will be actively dealing with resellers and bringing new partners on in line with the companies Channel strategy. The successful candidate will be able to interact at all levels of both the distributors and resellers and not simply sit behind the distributor and push product through. PERSON; Articulate, intelligent, self-motivated, talented, high energy levels that strive for success, track record of achievement and strong personal values. IT sales experience ideally within an IT security environment or software, networking, with an understanding of spy-wear, content security, network access control, intrusion prevention, email security, web security, managed services. You will have sold into a tier 2 channel model, ideally from Distribution through to resellers, but any IT channel executive will be appropriate.
