Jason co-founded CDS in Tokyo in April 1998 with Simon Childs and helped grow CDS and CDS Executive into the leading executive search company in Japan, offering a hybrid mix of retained and contingency search solutions to global clients. CDS was acquired by Recruit Inc. (Japan's largest recruiting and information services business with revenues of approximately USD $10 billion) in January 2008 and now serves as the hub of Recruit's Asian executive search business under the RGF Executive brand.

Jason has been based in Singapore since February 2010 and is responsible for RGF Executive's Singapore and South East Asia operation. He remains a Director on the CDS board in Tokyo.

He has spent more than fifteen years in Asia. For the last fourteen years, Jason has worked in executive search and business consultancy in Asia. Prior to co-founding CDS in 1998, he worked as an executive search consultant in a Japanese executive search & market entry firm with a focus in the Consumer Goods sector. Jason has completed a number of executive level searches, including president, country manager, vice president and senior level functional director roles in sales, marketing, finance, and human resources for Fortune 500 clients, and for small to medium sized corporations.

Jason is originally from California. He earned an MBA from the University Of Chicago, Booth School of Business and has a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in international business and marketing.

In his free time, Jason is an avid futsal (five-a-side soccer) player and captained his team to the Recruiter's Cup championship in Tokyo in 2008 and to the finals in 2007 and 2009. He also enjoys biking, running, and windsurfing.
