Career
With an increase in the number of private radio channels, the demand for radio jockeys has
risen tremendously in past few years. After deciding to be a Radio Jockey, you can work as an
FM/AM radio jockey, Satellite Radio Jockey, Sports talk Radio Jockey and Talk Radio
Jockey, etc. Also, you can pursue your career as a DJ mixer or a VJ. There are a plethora of

Remuneration
A beginner in the profession can expect a salary up to Rs 2 Lacs to Rs. 4 Lacs per year. After
gaining an experience, your salary could increase outstandingly depending on the show’s
popularity, and you own charm. RJs can earn Rs. 10 Lacs to Rs. 15 Lacs per annum.
Video Jockey earns the initial salary of Rs. 3 Lac to Rs. 5 Lacs per annum. As they get
familiarity in the industry their salary grows gradually.
