Once Upon a Time….There was a girl who wanted to play a sport called water polo.

She found her place on a team at a local junior college and dreamed of one day, being able to coach young girls just like herself.

She worked hard at her sport and trained with girls who shared the same passion for the game that she did.

Along The Way She Met…Many different coaches, who taught her about teamwork, responsibility, coach-ability, and what it means to represent a school.

She concluded that all of these wonderful coaches had ONE very important thing in common, they genuinely cared for all of their athletes.

Then It Hit Her…She cared about the game and about her team. She had learned so much over the years and even after several years of coaching already, she realized that she needed to do more.

So, she started to add more heart into her coaching. She knew more than just what position her players played. She knew their parents, their families, their likes and dislikes.

She had figured it out!

She Had Found the one thing that Made her coaching worth every hour spent on the pool deck

She had done it. After years of being a player and learning about the game and about herself, she had found her passion.

Being able to see young athletes grow into the mature and skilled athletes that she knew they would become, was one of the most rewarding things that she found from coaching.

She learned that by looking deep into the reasons why she loved the game so much, she was able to convey that same energy and passion to her players.

What Did This Passion Inspire? Her new found passion began to really shine through her coaching. Parents and even other coaches were able to see how much the team and the game meant to her.

It opened new doors for her, guiding her to a coaching position that was for her former high school. Where she still coaches and will even be taking on additional coaching responsibilities.
