Personal Resources Audit – Organization & Plan By Caleb Browning

Education, resources and new surroundings • I have already got Editing Software from Adobe for a

subscription fee. I will have to fund £13 a month for usage of every type of Adobe Software. This gives me freedom to use as many different applications as I want to complete an edit.

• I will not be in college for long. However, if everything goes to plan, I will be going into University late September. I will be able to pick up whatever equipment I want on loan from the university for outside projects and also for projects in the lessons themselves.

• I will be taking my computers with me so that all my work is stored. I will also be able to work from my new home at my convenience. However, I will need to look into buying a router for my internet.

Internet, friends and courses • While I wait for my own router, I will be socializing with

new friends and meeting new possible contacts and clients in the meantime.

• When the router comes, I will be able to access YouTube. YouTube is unreliable as a way of getting contacts because it is so ‘hit and miss’, but it would definitely be worth looking into.

• Sites that allow freelancers to work on projects for money can help pay for essentials such as the software and the monthly cost of the Internet. An example of this is https://www.freelancer.com.

• I will be able to start looking at online courses. A good example of one of these ‘schools’ that teach how to edit is http://www.nyvs.com/
