WHAT DO I WANT TO BE?

• I currently want to be an engineer.

• I haven’t decided what kind I want to be but I am very focused on being one.

• Engineering is a branch of science and technology that is concerned with building, designing and creating things

WHAT’S THE JOB MARKET FOR BECOMING AN ENGINEER?

• Currently in Canada and all over the world there is a very high demand due to mass growth of city’s and infrastructure.

• Civil engineering is currently the most demanding and popular engineering out there.

WHAT KIND OF EDUCATION DO I NEED?

• To become and engineer I must at least get a bachelors degree in the field of interest that I want.

• About 4 years minimum at university.

• To become a highly successful engineer it is recommended that you do your masters as well because you are more likely to be hired for the job

WHAT SKILLS ARE NECESSARY FOR THE JOB?

• I will need to be a strong critical thinker and strong at problem solving.

• I must be good at calculus, science and biology depending on you engineering choice. Also computer skills may come in handy.

• You must be able to problem solve quickly and be enthusiastic about your job

WHY AM I INTERESTED IN ENGINEERING?

• Ever since I was a little kid I love to draw and create these structures on paper and with lego.

• Currently I like maths and science so I think in creating something with these skills can be greatly beneficial to me and my country.

• I love to work on computers and draw up 3D renderings of things so maybe I could go into computer engineering.

WHAT FIELD OF ENGINEERING AM I INTEREST ME?

• I think I want to be a civil engineer or biological engineer.

• The reason that I want to be these because I like maths,(Civil engineer) and sciences.(Biological engineer)
