my name is Lou and i’m a card-carrying "second breaker"

that’s the term i use for people who have taken the bull by its horns and chosen

to redefine their careers

it’s not my first rodeo (i’ve successfully navigated 3 prior career pivots)

but it’s this last one – the move to writing

and entrepreneurship – that’s been the most

exciting, scary, and exhilarating.

when i started second breaks i initially only wanted to share my "reinvention"experiences

but i soon realized i’m far

from being alone

so many others are looking to do the same thing but aren’t able to

1) because they don’t have access to information and

resources that can help them take the first steps

2) because they don’t have a support system that can

encourage them

3) because they think they "don’t have what it takes" to

make a career change

4) because it’s too

difficult and overwhelming

5) because they’re scared

that’s when i realized i can actually help!

i can put my background in

change management, strategy, and

execution to use

helping individuals like you,

instead of large

corporations (which is what I’ve done for years)

and I thought my real experiences, hits and misses, can help you too… so you can avoid my mistakes

and pick on the wins

so now, I focus on helping as many people as i can…

get out of soul-sucking jobs and

cul-de-sac careers

so that they too, can

create their best careers
