THE FIRST GEM ENTREPRENEURS
CHALLENGE &
RE-GRADUATION CEREMONY
IN SHANGHAI
INSPIRING IDEAS AND TALENT
EDITO
Our aim is to be among the top business schools worldwide.
Each day we move closer to our goal as the number of international students and the global reach of our activities and faculty grow.Whatever the time of day, there is a GEM student studying somewhere in the world!
But the strength of our School also lies in the alumni community.
This is why I am extremely proud to chair this re-graduation ceremony and enable our alumni to receive their diplomas in China surrounded by friends and families.
International is not incompatible with local!
GEM has already come a long way but I am counting on you to ensure our future is even more successful!
I am delighted to welcome all alumni, friends and family for this first event in Shanghai. The projects represented in the Entrepreneurs Challenge are a fine testimonial to GEM’s graduates contribution to society. For families who have invested in the value of education it is a proud moment to see hard work and academic achievement rewarded.
May the alumni community in China continue to grow as your careers progress and prosper. Congratulations to all new graduates and special thanks to our China Office, sponsors and coordinators for making this day possible.
As representatives of Grenoble Ecole de Management’s Doctoral School, we are extremely proud to participate in today’s events.
For more than 10 years, the doctoral school has been very active in China with its Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) program and its prestigious collaborations with Tongji University, Sun Yat-sen University, and Chongqin University. The GEM DBA is a unique issue-driven, research-based program that offers participants the opportunity to obtain the highest level of qualification in business and culminates in a doctoral degree. Top managers and academics pursue their DBAs through this part-time program that supports investigation of subjects they are passionate about.
The doctoral students and alumni are part of GEM’s 700-member doctoral knowledge community that includes the 280+ alumni of the DBA program.
