What is it?• A live video broadcast that takes place once a
week at a MasterBrand location• The broadcast will be seen on computer
screens of every employee, as well as main screens in common areas
• GOAL: To increase all employees interest in MasterBrand
• To get all employees involved in a fun and innovative activity
• To make a large company that is spread throughout the US feel as if it is a small company

• Manager from a MasterBrand branch begins broadcast– Manager tells all employees any new things that
are going on in certain branches– Mention success stories that have occurred since
the last Wednesday. – Mention specific names of people around the US
and what they accomplished.

• Example:– “Richmond, Indiana just built an expansion to
their Manufacturing building due to the amount of sales volume coming out of Richmond. Congratulations!”• Make other employees aware of what is going on in the
company• Employees will feel alert on general advancements in
the company

• Example:– “Congratulations to John Adams, working in
Littletown, Pennsylvania, whose wife just had triplets!”• Make John feel great• Inform all MasterBrand workers of something going on
in a fellow employees life• Connect all employees and make it seem like there is

• Example: “Shout out to Mary Smith from Houston, Texas for spilling water all over her computer!”– Make employees laugh– Show a sense of humor throughout the company

• Why Wednesday?– Wednesdays are a boring day• situated in the middle of the week • Its not the beginning of the week, and it is not Friday• It’s a day that workers just want the week to be over
with and really have nothing going on.

• Wednesday’s are the new Fridays!– Workers will look forward to this day– once they find out who is leading in the company,
for the few days they will work even harder and try to surpass those better performed workers.
