Abstract
There are lots of engineer graduated every year. All of them are not getting job. There is no
balance between number of job vacancy and candidate appeared. For a single post there are lots
of candidates. Though the entire candidates are well educated but still they are not getting job. If
engineering field is a place for exploring creativity then why these creative people will not
getting job? In this article there is a solution of this big issue.

scenario, innovation, patenting.
In India there are lots of Engineer are graduating from lots of engineering colleges every year.
Survey shows that in the year 2005–2006 there are 1478 numbers of engineering college and
from those Engineering Colleges 508,595 numbers of engineering students complete their
graduation [1]. There are many private university formed every year. Many engineering colleges
are also not UGC / AICTE approved. Engineering starts from ITI, Diploma, and general degree
(BE/B-Tech). India is educating and produce lots of engineer every year. Previously there was
hardly one of two engineers in an area. But now a days almost every house having at least one
engineer. The thing is that there is a need for recruitment in the campus. The engineering college
is unable to give jobs to all the students. Only few students get jobs. Moreover in those jobs is
not according to their branch (Core branch job). Many software company recruits students and
paying them very less salary compared to other countries, like in Europe and USA. The task of
these engineers are very laborious and tiresome. After one or two years those engineers feel that
the money they earn after their daily expenses is less, and therefore it is very difficult to run a
standard life by their hard earn money. They also compare their income with their friends who
are none engineer living their life by private tuition, to help the new upcoming graduate students
who will joins in India in various engineering schools via competitive examinations. Some of
the graduated engineering prepare after graduation for a government job. But the thing is that
number of posts in the government sector is very less, and there is a big competition for a single
post. Thus some of the engineers own a coaching center, some of them joins in a business with
their father. Rest of jobless engineers struggle with what they studied and the job they will be
doing which may bring them down their images while they will call for an interview, if they

every get one and they may be asked “what you were doing before? Some of them connected
with crime, some of them committed suicide due to their honesty. Every year lots of educated
people committed suicide due to jobless. Around 800,000 to a million people die by suicide
every year, making it the 10th leading cause of death worldwide [2]. Among them there are many
jobless people.
All those frustrating information above does not mean we will do not have to graduate from
colleges. The fundamental question is, “why educated people (like engineer) depend on job given
by some company or government sector”? I think you may be surprised after reading this article.
For that's why not think the employment process in a backward way. If you give jobs to others by
generating a products that may lead to a direction which may solve our problems. The question
is how to become an owner of a company or free form job tension? Well, engineering field is a
combination of lots of innovation. If you compare engineering study with other field like medical
science or others, there are lots of innovative ideas in the field of engineering. Now a day’s
engineering application is everywhere, (even in other field also), every part of our day to day
life. Whatever we use in our daily life there is a role of engineering and we also do not have
enough of every thing that we really need. So if engineering application is everywhere then the
engineering scope is also everywhere. If students do their project (either mini or major),
application oriented, most innovative features compared with the present product then there is a
big possibility of getting jobs and also for creating jobs. In India a very common product is also
being sold smoothly, then why not an innovative product having more features (where there is a
good application of knowledge in an efficient way) which can also be competitive world's
market. I think those product may get best seller/ product around the world and also in India. If a
product called “safety-pin” can run smoothly in the market then why not innovative engineering
products capture the market?
Students in final years are involved for mini project. Students used to buy those readymate
projects from mini project manufacturers. They buy it, prepare their presentation and submit it.
No innovation, they just do it for the completion of their coarse curriculum. But if those project
can be done in a innovative manner then those realistic problem solving methods and approach
could be a big possibility for happening something which may lead to a great product and
brighter future engineering jobs. They can improve those projects as a product in the market.
They can patent those products on their own name, they can get sponsored to make a product
from different company and they can be the owner of that company. So there is a big impact of
there project in their life and it can change their future. For getting fund for their projects they
can contact to the respective person of their institute. Now a day’s government is spending lots of
money for the research work and there is a specific funding facility for that. For knowing latest
research many journals/ magazine has been subscribed by the institute by spending millions of
dollars. So students can use those resources for getting global technology updates. India
government is working to make India as a better place to live and work but we the engineers

have a big role to make it happen. Money is there from India Government but we have to be
innovative and not always a A++
shooter.
