DESIGN BRIEF

To design a comfortable, yet safe racing seat for daily driving. Racing seats are often too expensive to afford or too cheap to where you wouldn’t want to buy it. The Daily seat will meet in the middle of comfort, style and affordability.

User

The typical user of this product will be 18-30 male or female.DAILY will focus on ergonomics and safety when it comes to racing and day-to-day driveability.

To design a personal coffee maker that was sleek and elegant. I wanted to include bold styling, and an easy to use interface, all of this while having the convenience of using an included thermas cup.

I decided to head in a different direction from my sketch model, I wanted it to have more negative space

SERV

SERV is meant to aid in rescues in snowy environmentswhich power or gasoline is difficult to access. Due to the vehicle being human powered, it is ideal to go on long search missions without the fear of losing power or fuel along the way.

SERV is a human powered vehicle that aids inrescuing or delivering supplies to people that are stranded or in need of crucial supplies. It has the capacity to carry a wounded person or supplies as needed.

DESIGN CONCEPT

We wanted to create an exhibit that showed how passionate we are about automobile engineering and how far technology has come. We also wanted to showcase the fact that racing is fun, but it also has serious consequences. Safety is a big deal in racing and we wanted to display the advancements in technology due to crashes in drag racing.

The Exhibit promotes speed and safety while educating visitors as to why racing

is the way it is today.

A racing simulator is installed to allow visitors to experience the power and emotions that racing drivers go through

There are many issues commuters are facing nowadays. Everything from rising gas prices to heavy delays on the freeway makes you dread driving to work or school. There areother alternatives to driving such as public transportation, riding a motorcycle, or riding your bike. Here are some of the pros and con I have found from each of form of transportation.

The Interior will open like the classic BMW Isetta. This will make parking in small places more accesible and getting in and out easier.

If the car would ever be in a front end collision, small charges would detonate allowing the door to open if it gets damaged.
