Learning Outcomes of this Project

Four variations of sketching techniques based upon you’re design studio prototype model.

Tasks - Methodology Based on the selected image, produce four variations of a tonal value sketch. You can vary the sketches in the hatching type and medium. Examples of hatching types include stippling, cross-hatching, one-directional (hatching) and scribbling. You may choose to use are pen, pencil & color pencil or mixed media.

Submission Requirement

Four A4-sized sketches to be mounted on A1 size mounting board.

Label appropriately title of each sketch according to the technique

Name, group and project title must be written/ indicated at the lower bottom of the board Assessment criteria

Clarity in comprehension of space and spatial ideas

Depth and complexity of visualization of space through observation and perception

Skills in sketching

Sketching technique: sketch structure and toning

Quality of sketches: line, tones and composition

Usage of different materials/tools
