LAB TECHNIQUES LEARNED
Dissect animal organisms in order to study their internal systems and structures.
Use and identify various types of microscopes, execute various micro-techniques
and prepare slides with different animal and plant specimens and/or components.
Use different lab equipment such as pipettes, micropipettes, burette, heat plates,
balance and Bunsen burner.
Aseptic technique to minimize contamination while performing lab procedures.
Make dilutions according to specific molarities.
Use of PCR and electrophoresis technique for DNA analysis.
Preparation of Polyacrilamide gel and Zymography for protein and enzyme analysis.
SKILLS
Teamwork – During my degree I have been constantly working in groups, both for lab
experimental procedures and in academic work.
Communicative skills – Oral and written communication in both Spanish and English
