Fire Inspector

• You have to observe, receive, and obtain information from all relevant sources. Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. Identify information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events. I like this job because I want to do something in the career of helping people out and finding different problems and making them better.

Police Detectives

• You have to Enter, transcribe, record, store, or maintain information in written or electronic form. You have to observe and receive information from all relevant sources. You have to analyze information and evaluate results to solve the problems. You have to provide a testimony in court. You have to examine crime scenes and look for evidence. I like this job because I would like to work somewhere in the police force and try to help out in finding criminals.

Court Reporters

• You will need to record court cases by recording what people say and do. You have to write down shorthand notes and record symbols on a computer and translate them into words. My reaction to this job is that it looks like a good job but I would not want to do it because I don’t want to sit there all day and take notes and record people.

Carpenters

• You have to construct, erect, install or repair structures and fixtures made of wood. There is many different things you have to fix such as wood stairways, windows, door frames, and hardwood floors it may also include installing cabinets, siding, drywall and batt or roll insulation. I like the way this job sounds because I would like to work with my hands and on things instead of in a office.

Brickmasons and Blockmasons

• You have to lay and bind building materials. You use brick, structural tile, concrete block, cinder block, glass block, and terra-cotta block, with mortar and other substances to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, sewers, and other structures. I like this job because I would like to work in an area like this with fixing things with my hands.

Crane and Tower Operators

• You have to operate mechanical boom and cable or tower and cable equipment to lift and move materials, machines, or products in many directions. I don’t think I would like this job as much because I would feel scared about being at high levels and be scared of dropping the work.
