Asian artists, documentaries, 2013-Between 2013-15 I interviewed artists and craftspeople across Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Korea. The video interviews were an opportunity to learn how artists create a vision and the kinds of production techniques they use in their work.

Wrist watch reviews, 2013-I enjoy reviewing the aesthetics behind men’s watches. I started by reviewing my own collection. Later I began studying google images and reviewing watches I didn’t own. Today YouTubers send me requests to shoot reviews of watches they plan to buy.

Apartment, fit-out, Thailand, 2013In 2013 I began an experiment to purposely build a customer experience. For my experiment I bought an apartment in Phuket Thailand. I hand carpentered furniture, purchased appliances and put paint on walls and canvases.I watched customers post reviews, and with each review I improved the experience, eventually breaking down a customer experience in three stages.

Watch roll, design and build, Hong Kong, 2014I wanted to make a birthday present for my father. My father is an engineer and capable with his hands. In order to make an impression, I needed to create a piece he himself could not make – a piece he could marvel over. I settled on designing a watch roll in canvas, leather and polished wax.

Soft toys, design and build, Singapore, 2014I designed a corporate mascot for Futurebooks. I first crafted several two dimensional paper templates from cardboard. The template was improved with each time a stuff toy prototype made. Each unit was hand stitched from a composite of materials and pieced together using blanket and ladder stitching.

Honda sports bike, rebuild, UK, 2016I and several technicians restored a Honda sports bike, with the goal to get the bike track-worthy. We solved problems pertaining to the front brakes, steering head, accelerator cable, fuel overflow, and electricals.In June 2016 the bike was ready to be track raced at Blyton Park, UK.
