Marketers use promotional items for a variety of reasons. Mostly its brand awareness, but its often used in conjunction with a range of different opportunities as above.

The other reason to continue to use promotional items is that it stimulates loyalty.

1) Who is my target client (might be an influencer like a reseller or an end user recipient).

example, There is still a great part to play for bespoke items. The Churchill Insurance nodding Dog and the Meerkat dolls were all made to order and now have become
iconic figures for the brands.
