For grins and grit : Noir quotes

Dead men are heavier than broken hearts.

What do you want, my life history? Here it is in four words: big ideas,

small results.You’re in the same

boat that I am, but you are going to be dead

Him: You’re never around when I need you. Her: You never need me

when I’m around

I can be framed easier than “Whistler’s mother”.

I do your murder. You do mine. Criss-cross.

Cop: Can I help you?

Caller: I want to report a murder.Cop: Who was

murdered?Caller: I was.

She was a kitten, in a place that did not like kittens.

Him: Come on, read my future for me.

Her: You don’t have one.Him: What do you mean?

Her: Your future is all used up.
