Where do I find information about Clinical Trials?

Are you interested in Clinical Trials? Did you already start to visit company web pages and have

been overwhelmed with information about offered services, career opportunities and superlatives

like “greatest”, “biggest”, “most interesting”…?

When I started in this area a time ago, I really felt lost and I

sought support in my efforts to understand what this all was

about. It took a while to find sources helping a “not yet”

clinical professionals to gather a good understanding on – as

I find - a fascinating and rewarding work in an area which

cares for the most important value in life: Health.

I am pretty sure that the site http://www.clinicalresearch.com is a good starting point to learn what

a Clinical Trial is at all.

used abbreviations and acronyms really become an obstacle. The CDISC (Clinical Data Interchange

Standards Consortium) offers a great pdf (http://goo.gl/A24gFU) which I found most helpful.

With these sources you certainly will be well prepared to do the next step: To learn what the different

departments, necessary to initiate and run a clinical trial do.
