It is true that one can never have enough shoes. That is a
fact. There is always going to be that one pair of shoes that
would just totally go with a certain outfit, but unfortunately
you can’t because one has to think of money and space and
where would they keep them, if purchased.
But, each type of shoe fits with a certain basic function of
our daily life. Like basic sneakers or converse shoes are good
for daily wear and the interesting part it that one can wear
with almost all type of outfit, from college ones to office
wear, and even mix and match with a dress for a party if
needed.
Then there are the loafers or slip on sandals, that are perfect
for the summer months and allow the feet to breather
properly without unnecessary closing. Then there are boots
perfect for the winter months that keep ones feet properly
encased any harsh coldness. Also, if one is visiting a snowy
place then boots come in handy since they do not get soaked
so easily like other cloth based shoes.
There are numerous shops from where one can get shoes in
Delhi. And there many wide array of shops ranging from
high end luxury footwear, to local, budget shops that sell
footwear friendly to the pocket. There are also roadside
vendors and cobblers available are corner markets who can
repair shoes at a small fees.
Also, the recent trend of self employed designers specializing
in many different areas including footwear who can make or
change your existing footwear according to ones taste. But,
the most problem anyone faces is during the rainy season
when the roads get clogged and there are water puddles
everywhere. So, here are few tips on what type of shoes to get
for the rainy season:
1. Closed Shoes: Try not to wear too open toed shoes, since there is a chance
that dirt or dirty water might seep inside. So, try to go for a
bit closed shoes that would at least allow one to navigate
easily through the puddles. Suppose one is going to a
restaurant in Delhi and they have to walk, then wearing light
exposed sandals can result in dirty feet, which could also
lead to infection.
2. Durable Material: Avoid wearing cloth based shoes, try to go for more faux
leather or such type of materials that wouldn't really absorb
water too fast.
3. Don’t Wear Heels:
Avoid wearing heels especially if one they will be walking
even a short distance. They will increase misbalance and
might result in injury due to the slick roads. Wear firm sole
shoes.
