• A graph over the last month shows numerous temperature changes from a
high and low perspective
• From January 8th (20 degrees as a high) to January 23 (40 degrees as a
high) we have seen a temperature change of 20 degrees within 15 days.
• From January 8th (0-5 degrees as a low) to January 23 (20 degrees as a
high) we have seen a temperature change of 15-20 degrees

• We have received over 2.5” of rain this month during stretches of rapid
fluctuating temperatures, which has not provided consistent ground
conditions
• The golf course has not had a consistent period to either drain or freeze
over, resulting in not only freeze/thaw but excessive moisture in the upper
root zone
• Golf course conditions can’t be predicted on a daily basis, and conditions
change drastically from morning to afternoon
• Winter course conditions have created an unsafe environment - ice
accumulation, standing water
