Mise en scene
This opening sequence has a lot of low key lighting which signifies that it is a very serious place or when low key lighting is used at home it shows us that the antagonist is having problems at home
This picture shows us the setting of where the show is going to be.
The clothes that are worn by the two girls are very dark and rebellious. This is also evident in there hair and make-up. It shows us that they are not just average every day girls but are girls that may have issues at home or mentally.
Camerawork
These three images show a zoom shot that the cameraman has down to show the setting in more detail
This is an extreme close shot on the victim
it shows us the nature and content of what
is coming ahead
This is a crab movement where the camera is moving sideways
Editing
These four clips are all within a second of each other the editor synchronized the clock ticking with the introduction of a new character into the scene.
Sound
• Digenic sounds: the phone ringing, the garage door shutting, clock ticking in the interrogation room
• Non-digenic sounds: in the introduction where names of characters were coming up
• Opening track is emotive which tells us that it will be quite a emotional episode
• Hyperbolic breathing at the start when the irls walk away from crime scene, signifies that what they did and how they acted was very animalistic
