WHO ARE WE? Vokant Management OY is a sportswear company founded and based in Finland, specialized in sport and outdoor apparel, thermal and functional base layers, the owner of two popular brands: Guahoo® & Laplandic®, operating since 1998. The headquarters of Vokant Management Oy is based in Espoo, Finland. The representative Office of Vokant Management Oy is located in Moscow, Russia
Vokant Management Oy started its commercial activities importing thermals and technical underwear to Finland and Russia from the United States. The company has created its own brand of thermals and technical underwear Guahoo®. Later a second brand Laplandic® was born to cater to growing demand of the lower price segment. The company began to increase the assortment of Guahoo®. In addition to thermal and technical underwear, summer and outerwear clothes for sporting and outdoor activities are now being produced under Guahoo® trademark.

The Laplandic® thermal underwear is designed specially for severe weather and quickly became popular among a wide audience. Our models’ design is being created under supervision of our Finnish Chief designer, in cooperation with European, US and Asian designers. Patterns of each model are carefully designed by our technologists to follow the size, international technical standards and to ensure maximum of comfort and functionality.

We thoroughly select our suppliers and manufacture our goods only in the factories that have a proven track-record and are reliable partners with a legal, clear and transparent documentation, and which produce quality goods using modern equipment and innovative materials.

We use (and encourage our suppliers to use) modern fabrics that combine both natural materials and innovative synthetic fibers including but not limited to Merino wool, cotton, bamboo fiber, HeatwarmTM-active, SoftwarmTM, EnerUp ®, Meryl ® Skinlife, Clean Cool ® and many others.

Our company structure has its own logistics department, which carries out all the work of organizing delivery of goods and customs clearance. For storage, dispatch & logistics we cooperate with best service providers: DHL ITELLA EVERGREEN MAERSK DHL, UPS, TNT, ITELLA – for parcel deliveries and many others.

In order to insure thorough partners’ selection efficient system of QC we have adapted a 6 stage program: 1.Due diligence (legal & SGS check) 2.Start-up check (our team) 3.Pre-Production / P-Pro check (our team) 4.During Production check / Du-Pro (our team alone or together with SGS team inspect the quality of workmanship during manufacturing) 5.Pre-Shipment, Final Random Inspection /FRI (appearance, performance and workmanship check, quantity, packaging, labeling; by our team alone or together with SGS team) 6.Pre-Loading & Unloading Supervision / LS & US (by SGS team)

We consider it is necessary to take an active position in the protection of the environment and therefore carefully select our partners and cooperate only with factories which prioritize environmental issues and minimize impact upon it. Additionally, our partners are only companies that do not use child labor and take care of their employees. We pay attention to the manufacturing facilities, technologies, comfortable working conditions.
