•According to their site, Twitter is “a real-time information network powered by people all around the world that lets you share and discover what’s happening now.”

•This information is found through messages or sentences composed of 140 characters or less, or a sentence roughly the length of this one.

•Twitter allows these messages or tweets to be public and searchable.

•Twitter is a great way for businesses to:-share their experiences and promote various activities and services within the business.

-engage in discussions about their products and/or services.

How do you use Twitter?

•The first step in using Twitter is creating an account. This process is easy and can be found here.

•After signing up for a Twitter account, it is very important to fill out your profile completely so that other people will know more about you.

•A company logo is preferable for a picture if the account is meant to come from the company. If the account is for the business owner then use a more approachable picture of yourself.
