Document Request List (DRL)

• The MERX Document Request List (DRL) is an option that purchasing organizations can use to provide suppliers with the ability to see who else has ordered a particular tender document on MERX

• The DRL is an excellent way for suppliers to identify possible partnering or sub-contracting relationships for larger opportunities that they may not be able to win on their own

• Partnerships created through the DRL that turn into winning bids often transform into successful long lasting business relationships

Electronic Bid Submission • EBS allows suppliers and contractors to submit bids and/or proposals

online via MERX.

• Electronic Bid Submission is the electronic transfer of proposal documents/files between a potential supplier and contracting authority.

• The MERX EBS system includes safeguards to ensure the security and authenticity of the material being transferred.

Document Request List

Each buying organization chooses whether or not to enable this feature. When enabled, the ‘Document Request List’ allows you to view a list of all organizations that have downloaded the document for a specific opportunity. It is also important to keep your MERX profile up to date in order for current and accurate details about you/your business appear on the list. Many organizations use this to provide transparency, fairness and accountability to the tendering process.
