The last emperor is a documentary about the renowned fashion designer, Valentino Garavani, his partner Giancarlo Giammetti and the fashion business as a whole, Tyrnauer documents various events in Garavani’s life such as dressings, fashion shows, business changes and decisions.

This Documentary is completely observational with no on screen appearances from the documentary maker or voiceovers, instead old news footage and interviews are used to help understand what is going on, onscreen.

Man on wire is a 2008 Oscar winning documentary, it follows Phillipe Petit’s illegal tight rope walk between New Yorks world trade centre twin towers in 1974. The title of the movie is taken from the police report that eventually led to his arrest.
