Our goal is to break the mold and perceptions that restaurants are factory food machines by offering wholesome foods presented in a modern way, robust hospitality and caring staffing practices. Location Our location will be in west Omaha in an area easy to access with ample parking. The interior is being built from re-claimed materials such as barn wood, school house floors, exposed brick, and slate. Menu Micro Farm Scapes Selections of farm bounty served with edible soil and micro "pastures": "Sunny Side Ham" TD Niche Farm Heirloom Pork, carrot- horseradish emulsion. "Prairie Fire" Perfect Ten Ranch organic bison, juniper, smoke. "Chicken or the Egg" Plum Creek Chicken comfits, pickled egg, Woody Creek Farm Lavender aioli Atmosphere Reclaimed woods, Brick, Stone and Slate Colorful photography of farmers and farm-scrapes The feeling of going out to come home. We integrate familiar modern themes such as sleek tableware lines, modern stemware and juxtaposition to the past with the reclaimed materials. Marketing Strategy Website Design: Binning Designed Word of Mouth: A recent stellar review from the Omaha World-Herald has generated a huge buzz amongst locals. Social Media: our IT guy is building an integrated system to allow real-time updates across the web so that you are a part of ALL of the action! Radio/TV: we currently have budgeted monies for advertisement on these mediums.

Financial Plan We anticipate reaching more than 75% of start-up costs through private investment firms who have already committed there support. We have foodstart.com which is where YOU come in! Be a part of a revolution to change the machine of food back to its place of fulfilling passionate art. Management Lori Tatreau is a passionate local food advocate working to rebuild a sustainable local food supply. She has been a local food buyer for a small health food grocer, a bouquet maker at the Omaha Farmer’s Market, an organic farm apprentice, Local Forager for the Midwest Region of Whole Foods Market, organizer of a local food dinner for 500, and George Paul Vinegar sales associate. In addition to managing the Midweek Market at Midtown Crossing, she is currently manager of Lone Tree Foods, a local food producers network for farmers ready to scale up to wholesale sales. She is also President of the Douglas County chapter of the Nebraska Farmers Union, and member of the Marketplace Committee of the Nebraska Agriculture Council, a project of the Humane Society of the United States. In 2012 Lori was hostess and organizer of the monthly Hootenanny series at the Waiting Room in Benson which raised money for local food and farm projects. She is an Omaha native with an MFA in Painting from Hunter College in New York and hopes to retire to a bison ranch in the Sand hills someday. Raising Money for The Farmer's Table
