Some ideas to achieving the target would include:

Turning off lights at night.

Encourage the administration to always print double-sided to reduce energy usage.

Ensure the procedures that are implemented in the mechanic area to follow policies in dealing with disposal of oils and other lubricants.

Integrate Company Policy with everyone in the work environment.

Keep up to date with new laws and new environmental policies.

Seek ideas from the rest of the world and search the internet.

Ask for suggestions from employees or other stakeholders about implementingnew procedures.

Develop internal policies and procedures with regard to paper use such as: use printers capable of duplex printing (printing on both sides) – and set these

printers’ default to duplex printing configuration;

minimise the use of smaller stand-alone and desktop printers;

use electronic forms of communication wherever possible;

reuse single-sided scrap paper for internal or draft print-outs;

establish an office paper recycling program or policy, or improve upon an existing one to increase the supply of recycled content pulp; and

develop training information session to raise awareness and promote paper recycling programs.
