Syracuse Hydroponics means gardening or a method of gardening. In this method plants don’t need soil for growing. It’s a whole new process of gardening or we can say agricultural miracle.
In this method the plants which is planted and cultivated without soil is called Syracuse hydroponics. In research it is seen that the plant needs many kind of mineral elements from soil and if the plant can get those elements from water then it does not need any soil.

By this process the plant can grow naturally without soil.
This cultivation method was first discussed in 1627 by Francis Bacon in his book Sylva sylvarum and after that in 1699 it became a popular method for planting trees.
In 1950 scientist also took interest in this soil less gardening process. Many countries like Netherland, Germany and Australia also used this method on their agricultural product and got very good results. The trees which is not a typical type of tress and does not grow in a normal traditional environment and need to cultivate in a special environmentcan be grown in hydroponics process.

There are two main types of this process, one is solution culture and other is medium culture. In solution culture solid element is not necessary for roots it just need nutrients for growing. Solution culture is mainly in three types: static solution culture, continuous flow solution culture and lastly aeroponics. In static solution the plant can grow in a jar, tank, tub with nutrient solution.
. In continuous flow solution, a method which is popularly used called nutrient film technique or NFT where nutrients mixed water is poured to the tree and a large amount of oxygen is supplied to the tree.
Aeroponics method is commercially popular where the planting environment can be controlled very easily.
The only problem of this method is that only some kind of tree can be grown in this process. Now the medium culture method is some process where plants needs solid elements to grow.
Medium culture is mainly in two types: sand culture and Rockwool culture. Rockwool culture is very popular in medium culture method. In this method plastic is mainly used as containers but concrete, wood, metal is also used for growing plants.
Syracuse hydroponics method has been proved as a beneficial methodfor gardening than soil gardening. The growth is 30-50 percentage more than soil gardening and it is also proved that it does not need to find nutrients because those nutrients is delivered many times per day on a regular basis. It is also free from insects and other kind of diseases.

And that’s why those trees produce more fruits than soil base tress and it can be said that these trees are healthier and useful than soil gardening.Nowadays it becomes more and more popular in business, science etc. government is also taking interest on this new gardening method as it is more useful to agriculture.
