High availability
Syncron Data Center is located at the premises of one of Sweden’s most recognized co-location and fiber backbone provider with several customers in banking-and financial business.
The facilities fulfill requirements for security class II, in accordance with SSF
200:4. Securitas alarm (alarm class III, according to SSF130:7), with intrusion detection system. The facilities are managed and camera-monitored 24x7 from the Network Operation Center.
Power at is backed up with both UPS (batteries) and diesel generators. Redundant cooling is supplied with uninterruptable power. The facilities are protected with automatic fire detection and extinguishing systems.
The site has several redundant fiber connections (separate routes) towards main internet hubs in the Nordics, London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and New York.
The Syncron Data Center is monitored and managed 24/7/365 by one of Sweden’s largest managed hosting service provider, also ISO20000 certified.
Full redundancy
Syncron Data Center is configured with highest redundancy in mind. Internet connections, firewalls and internal networks and storage configuration are all redundant, databases and application servers are running on clustered and fail-over platforms to minimize interruptions and downtime.Backups are being sent to an additional secure location on a daily basis to ensure short recovery times and recovery points.
Scalability
Syncron Data Center is designed to easily enable both up scaling and down scaling in terms of performance and capacity. Should there be a need for more processing power or disk space, we can configure the hosted environments with the new parameters.

Highest security
All environments hosted in the Syncron Data Center is running on dedicated and isolated local networks protected
by redundant firewalls where only necessary inbound and outbound traffic and protocols are allowed.
Syncron Solutions are only accessed through HTTPs and sFTP and the back-end is only accessible through secure
VPN connections.
All servers are running latest antivirus protection and they are being updated with latest patches on a monthly
basis or whenever important urgent patches are released. Only Syncron personnel and Syncron authorized third
party suppliers, on a need to have basis, has access. This is strictly regulated in non-disclosure agreements and
access audits.
